Deerfield Board Authorizes EMS Chief Negotiations, Accepts Four Staff Resignations

WHATELY — May 20, 2026 — Deerfield Select Board accepts EMS chief recommendation and four staff resignations in abbreviated session. Meeting without Chair Blake present, the two-member board — including Trevor McDaniel — unanimously authorized the town administrator to negotiate with Tim Drumgoole for the South County EMS Chief position following a unanimous recommendation from the South County EMS Board of Oversight, with any agreement required to return to the board for final approval.
