Nine Whately Properties Change Hands as Prices Range From $65,000 to Nearly $500,000
Nine properties changed hands in Whately between July 17 and Aug. 15, according to Franklin County Registry of Deeds records. Six of the nine disclosed a sale price, ranging from $64,908 to $494,700, with a median of $270,000. The month's top sale was 188 State Rd. at $494,700, sold to DAS Acquisition Co. LLC. Christian Lane and Chestnut Plain Road each saw two transactions. Several transfers named a credit union or Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. as grantee, and one was a same-family transfer on Christian Lane. The mix of institution-linked and individual transfers makes overall market tone difficult to characterize from this data alone.
