In Whately, 13 property transfers were recorded by the Franklin County Registry of Deeds from Sept. 18 to Oct. 17, but only three carried a sale price: $65,000, $70,000 and $100,000, for a median of $70,000 among priced sales. The month's most notable transaction was the $100,000 sale of 45 Christian Lane from Paul M. and Sheri A. Gray to Freedom Credit Union. Several transfers involved banks or credit unions as either buyer or seller, and multiple transfers moved property within the same family or into trusts. With most prices not yet available in registry data, the overall market tone for the period cannot be fully assessed.
