Masterson Road sale tops Whately's August transfers as price data thins out
Franklin County Registry of Deeds records show 12 property transfers in Whately from July 31 to Aug. 24, but only five disclosed a sale price, ranging from $64,908 to $1.4 million, with a median of $290,000. The month's top transaction was 92 Masterson Rd, which sold for $1.4 million on Aug. 24. Chestnut Plain Road saw three transfers, none with a disclosed price. Five of the 12 transfers involved a bank, credit union or mortgage-registration entity as buyer or seller, and two properties went to the Town of Whately for unpaid taxes. With most prices undisclosed, the data offers only a partial view of market activity.
