Just Two of 13 Whately Deeds Recorded a Sale Price, Both Tied to Credit Unions

Franklin County Registry of Deeds recorded 13 Whately property transfers between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, but only two disclosed a sale price: $64,908 for 116 Christian Lane and $375,200 for 45 North Street, a median of $220,054 based on those two figures alone. Both priced sales named a credit union as buyer. Nine of the 13 total transfers involved a bank, mortgage servicer, credit union or MERS as buyer or seller, and one, at 145 State Rd., went to Whately Town Taxes. State Road (four transfers) and Chestnut Plain Road (three) saw the most activity. With prices undisclosed on 11 of 13 deeds, broader market tone cannot be assessed from this data alone.
